Watch The Girl From Tomorrow on YouTube

The Girl From Tomorrow serial tv online for all to Enjoy!

One of the best old drama series with a huge dose of sci-fi from Australia is The Girl From Tomorrow.

Now you can watch it for free on YouTube if you want.

All episodes were uploaded to the service in 2011 and they are all still watchable now in 2020 and many years to come. Quality isn’t the best, but it is still totally watchable! Man,.. what a crush I had on Alana. Who didn’t?

About The Girl From Tomorrow

It must be one of the most watched tv shows in the world. It went everywhere. On our national tv in Norway, The Children’s Channel that was available for entire Europe and many more.

The series is based around Alana, which is played by Katharine Cullen.  A girl, who lives in the year 3000. Silverthorn is a criminal from the year 2500 and brought back in time to the year 1990. How they encounter each other will reveal too much, but it has to do with time travel. This is simply one of the best time travel series and is even epic today!

A sequel series was named Tomorrow’s End and was aired in 1991.

The Girl From Tomorrow Episode One

Nostalgia and Award-winning Sci-Fi for all ages

Bring on the memories….. with the first episode. The rest is also on YouTube for now. The episode’s name is Future Shock.

The series was a finalist in the Youth Series category in the 1990 New York Film & TV Festival. The movie version received the following awards:

  • 1990 Cairo International Film Festival For Children: Golden Cairo Award for Best Film
  • 1990 Festival International March de l’audiovisuel et programme jeunesse: Award for Best Drama
  • 1991 Houston Film Festival: Bronze Award

This is one of the best sci-fi series from Australia that’s ever made. It got drama, sci-fi and lots of humor. Take the series for what it is now and have a great watch for sure!

The Season Two was named Tomorrow’s End

The most memorable about this show is the bad guy. Silverthorn was really scary even though this was sci-fi for younger children. The intros for both of the seasons have this very good touch to them with the music being toned that is stuck into my mind ever since I saw it on The Children’s Channel and on NRK here in Norway.
